While we were visiting Kristin’s parents in Beaver, Utah, we headed out west of town to the Mineral Mountains. The weather was perfect for some desert hiking, except on Saturday we went for a second trip to Rock Corral Spring and had about 4 inches of snow dumped on us. These photos are from a large boulder field created by a lava flow, called Black Mountain.
